| Customer from Maple Rapids, MI with a 26inch, 8 pound German Brown Trout caught on June 8, 2003! |
The Muskegon River and the backwaters behind Croton Dam offer tremendous fishing opportunities. Below the dam freshwater
fish varieties include: Rainbow & German Brown Trout, Northern Pike, Spring Steelhead, Summer Steelhead (Skamani),
Fall Chinock & Coho Salmon, Crappie, Large & Smallmouth Bass, Rock Bass, Sturgeon, Gar Pike, and Walleye. Above
Croton Dam Northern Pike, Largemouth & Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Panfish, Catfish, and an occasional Trout reside.
Seldom are one of our customers "Skunked"! The Owner and Crew love to hit the river or the pond on those quiet summer
afternoons whenever we get a chance! (Which seems to be seldom as we are so busy in the summer!)
